The Food Project leads a holistic food rescue initiative, ensuring that every morsel of surplus food serves a purpose. Our primary mission is to nourish communities by distributing rescued food. For items that aren't fit for consumption, we provide recipient agencies with compost bins. Our sister organization, Compost Carpool, then expertly manages the composting process, converting waste into life-giving soil. This two-pronged approach allows us to guarantee 100% beneficial reuse and track every pound of food until its end-of-life.
